I get so wound up that I might ruin them and instead they sit unused. THis is fab, love the flounce ate the sleeve. In fact to be honest the whole top is spot on, well done.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01590212324752526648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8209080131494479770.post-377455939154363692017-04-11T16:51:30.032+01:002017-04-11T16:51:30.032+01:00I've never really sewn with gingham before, bu...I've never really sewn with gingham before, but I think i might now! I think if I made it I would put maybe an exposed zip in the back (like Tilly's Orla) just because I have a big head and narrow shoulders :) Thank you for posting these instructions - truly helpful!PsychicSewerKathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06911914507722968930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8209080131494479770.post-84695551474048478362017-04-06T22:53:42.713+01:002017-04-06T22:53:42.713+01:00It looks lovely Helen and really suits you! What a...It looks lovely Helen and really suits you! What a thoughtful gift the fabric was & it looks like it's got a lovely weave to it. It really suits you and the sleeves are such a nice shape too.

i can't remember how I've done it when I made my Raglan sweaters but I know with Harris's I sew the sides up first, then set in the sleeves - only because i first made it when I started sewing & religiously followed instructions, I still do it that way out of force of habit but when I make tshirts for myself I sew the sleeves flat. Hmm not very consistent! Kathrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05183395919767332073noreply@blogger.com
